How we score crisis readiness
STEER is our proprietary five-pillar method for facing hostile questions when something has gone wrong. Every SpokesCoach coaching report scores your performance against it, out of 10 per pillar — so you always know exactly which instinct needs work before it's tested for real.
Show you care
Lead with the people affected, not the organisation. Audiences forgive mistakes; they don't forgive indifference.
Take responsibility
Own what's yours without weasel words. "Mistakes were made" is a headline; "we got this wrong" is a turning point.
Evidence, not speculation
Say what you know, say what you don't, and never guess on camera. Speculation is the clip a newsroom leads with.
Engage a plan
Care without action reads as PR. Name the concrete steps underway and when people will hear from you next.
Remain in command

What a Vantage 360 engagement looks like
Vantage 360 coaches are senior crisis and media advisers — the people organisations call when a recall, a breach, or a resignation is about to meet a camera. Through SpokesCoach they offer:

Availability & fees
Vantage 360 coaching is a paid add-on, separate from your SpokesCoach subscription, available on Team and Agency plans. Engagements are quoted individually — per rehearsal, per incident, or on retainer — because no two crises are the same size.
A score under 5 on any STEER pillar on a coaching report qualifies your spokesperson for a priority session.
